Hello. Today's poem will be from a picture I took in Rome, Italy. I was visiting there in the summer of 2017.
It was a good week. I walked for 10km every day to see the sights, and yet I never saw enough. The world has so many interesting things out there, and the thought that bugs me is that I'll never get to experience the pleasure and amazement to see each wonderful thing in this world in my lifetime.
But that is okay because you have to think of yourself as one being amongst everyone else. Each person experiences different things, and I can find pleasure in knowing that they have experienced on my behalf. I will enjoy the little things. And I have the benefit of creating my own world with its own wonders and sights to see, a whole world in my mind and on paper. That is something, isn't it?

Today's poem is inspired by the picture above that I took on my travels.
A cold stone heart.
A cold stone heart can fill your heart with wonder.
A lifeless thing, it sits quietly.
It cannot see nor feel but reflects what you might fear.
In its silence, it leads you where you need to be.
Cold to the touch and without a heartbeat, but the feeling it creates fills the void inside you.
Two birds with one stone.
Two birds who got a place to rest.
Thousands of souls have their hearts filled with inspiration and joy.
What do you place for others to see?
Might you bring out a force to feel?
Even in its lifeless state,
It might inspire or create.
